Refund Policy

2. What you bought
Visafold Pro is a one-time purchase of A$49 that removes the free-tier limits (1 application, 5 documents) and unlocks unlimited applications, unlimited documents, ZIP exports, and any additional features we choose to include in the Pro plan from time to time. There is no recurring subscription.
3. 7-day cooling-off period
If you change your mind within 7 days of purchase, you can request a full refund for any reason. We don’t ask why, and we don’t make you fill out a form.
After the refund processes, your account drops back to the free tier. Documents you uploaded stay in your account; applications beyond the free-tier limit will be archived (not deleted) and restored if you upgrade again later.
4. After the 7-day window
Outside the 7-day window, refunds are at our discretion. We’ll generally agree to a refund if:
- You experienced a genuine technical failure that prevented you from using Pro features.
- You were charged in error.
- The service materially changed in a way that affects what you paid for.
We will not generally refund for change of mind after 7 days, or because your visa was refused (Visafold is an organisation tool; the application outcome is not within our control).
5. Your Australian Consumer Law rights
Nothing in this policy excludes or limits the consumer guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If the service is not of acceptable quality, is not fit for purpose, or doesn’t match its description, you are entitled to a remedy regardless of the timeframe above.
6. How to request a refund
Email info@visafold.com.au from the email address on your Visafold account. Include:
- Your account email
- The approximate date of purchase
- (Optional) The reason, so we can keep improving
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and process approved refunds within 5 business days. The refund goes back to the original payment method via Stripe. Depending on your bank, the money may take a further 3-10 days to appear on your statement.
7. Chargebacks
If you have a problem, please email us first. We’ll almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback. If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened, we may temporarily suspend Pro access while the dispute is investigated.
