What Visafold does

Built around the way a visa actually goes.

Preparing

A document checklist generated for your exact subclass - the 500 asks for your CoE and OSHC, the 820 asks for relationship evidence, the 189 asks for your skills assessment.

Lodged and waiting

Log milestones as they happen: biometrics, medicals, requests for information. Your timeline builds itself.

Granted - and the next visa

Share your grant timeline to help the people still waiting. The PR planner maps your route onward, and your documents carry into the next visa.

Real people, real applications

Between classes, between shifts, at 2am when you can’t sleep.

A visa application is months of waiting, dozens of documents, and a hundred small anxieties. Visafold is the quiet place that holds it all together, so you always know exactly where you stand, and you’re never doing it alone.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Visafold a registered migration agent?

No. Visafold is an information and document organisation tool, not a migration agent. It does not give migration advice, assess visa eligibility, or lodge applications. For advice specific to your situation, consult a registered MARA agent.

What visas does Visafold support?

Visafold supports 12 Australian visa subclasses: 482 (Skills in Demand), 189 (Skilled Independent), 190 (Skilled Nominated), 491 (Skilled Regional), 485 (Graduate), 820/309 (Partner), 186 (Employer Nomination), 191 (Permanent Regional), 494 (Skilled Employer Sponsored), 600 (Visitor), and 500 (Student).

What is the 482 to 186 TRT age deadline?

To use the 186 Employer Nomination Scheme (TRT stream), you must be under 45 at the time of nomination. Since the TRT requires 2 years of work with your sponsoring employer on a 482 visa, your 482 must be granted early enough to complete that work before your 45th birthday. Use the free TRT calculator to find your specific date.

How does Visafold store my documents?

Documents are uploaded to Cloudinary, a secure cloud storage provider, and stored encrypted at rest. Visafold uses Australian-region infrastructure where possible. You can delete your documents and account at any time.

Is Visafold really free?

Yes. Every feature is free for applicants: unlimited visa applications, unlimited documents, background AI data extraction, expiry alerts, agent share links, ZIP export, the PR Planner, and community access. No card required and no unlock fees.

Can I share documents with my migration agent?

Yes. Every application can generate a read-only share link scoped to that specific application. The link expires automatically and can be revoked at any time. The agent sees all uploaded documents organised by category.

Does Visafold lodge visa applications?

No. Visafold sits alongside ImmiAccount - it helps you organise your documents and track your application, but lodgement happens through the Department of Home Affairs' ImmiAccount system or through your migration agent.
