You're uploading sensitive immigration documents — passports, police checks, financial records. We take that seriously. Here's exactly how we protect your data.
Encrypted cloud storage
All documents are stored on Cloudinary, a SOC 2 certified cloud platform used by thousands of enterprises globally. Files are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption and in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Cloudinary undergoes annual third-party penetration testing and maintains a continuous bug bounty program.
Only you can access your files
Your documents are private by default. Visafold staff cannot view your files. Only you — and anyone you explicitly share with using the Share with Agent feature — can access them. Share links are time-limited and can be revoked at any time.
Secure database
Your application data, checklist progress, and account information are stored on Supabase, hosted in the Oceania (Sydney) region. Row-level security ensures your data is isolated — no user can ever access another user's data.
We never sell your data
Visafold does not sell, rent, or share your personal information or documents with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes. We are not affiliated with the Australian Department of Home Affairs, OMARA, or any government body. We are an independent organisation tool built by a visa applicant, for visa applicants.
Delete anytime
You can delete individual documents, applications, or your entire account at any time from your dashboard. When you delete a document, both the database record and the file stored on Cloudinary are permanently removed. Account deletion removes all your data — there is no recovery after deletion.
Your data is portable
You can export all your uploaded documents as a ZIP file at any time from the Documents tab. Your data is not locked in — you can leave and take everything with you.
Hosted in Australia
Visafold's database is hosted in the Oceania (Sydney) region on Supabase infrastructure. Document files are stored globally on Cloudinary's CDN for fast delivery, with security controls in place.
