Skilled Work Regional Visa (491) Pathways 1 & 3 Now Closed

NSW has announced that new applications for the Skilled Work Regional Visa (Subclass 491) Pathway 1 and Pathway 3 are now closed for the current program year. This is because all available nomination places have been fully allocated. Pathway 1 is for people currently employed by a regional NSW employer, and Pathway 3 is for recent graduates. Pathway 2 (for those invited by Investment NSW) remains available. Applications that were already submitted before the closure will continue to be assessed and processed once new nomination places are allocated by the Department of Home Affairs. You don't need to do anything right now. NSW is currently reviewing the program settings and eligibility criteria for the next program year and will publish updated information on their website when it becomes available.
