Official source ↗The Skills in Demand visa (subclass 482) Core Skills stream allows workers to stay in Australia for up to 4 years, with Hong Kong passport holders eligible for up to 5 years. From 1 July 2026, eligible citizens from Pacific Island nations and Timor-Leste can access lower visa costs when lodging valid applications. Cost concessions may also apply in limited other circumstances.
